Gangtok, Darjeeling, Lachung, and Pelling are four of the most beautiful destinations located in the northeastern region of India. Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is a picturesque hill station known for its beautiful monasteries, stunning mountain views, and vibrant culture. Darjeeling, also known as the “Queen of Hills,” is a popular destination for its tea plantations, beautiful landscapes, and the stunning view of Mount Kanchenjunga. Lachung, a small town in North Sikkim, is famous for its beautiful valleys, waterfalls, and snow-clad mountains. Pelling, located in West Sikkim, is a beautiful town known for its monasteries, beautiful landscapes, and ancient history.

Day 1 :

Arrival at Bagdogra - Gangtok

Arrival at Bagdogra Airport transfer to Gangtok. At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. On arrival hotel check in and own activity , overnight at hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2 :

Gangtok – Lachung

After breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Lachung(8700ft) north Sikkim. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeingand visiting like naga waterfalls, lachung chu at chungthang and bhim nala waterfalls. On arrival check into hotel and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 :

Excursion to Yumthang valley – transfer to Gangtok

After breakfast proceed to Yumthang Valley in North Sikkim is popularly known as the valley of flowers of Sikkim. It is on the most picturesque places to visit in Sikkim. At an altitude of 11,800 ft (3,600 meters), nature has gifted the valley undulating meadows, mountain streams, hot spring & numerous varieties of flowers. Yumthang Valley is approx 140 km from Gangtok, the Sikkim capital. Due to it’s altitude the weather remains cold all the time. Specially in winter the valley remains covered with thick snow. Later back the hotel and then transfer to Gangtok. On arrival to Gangtok hotel check in and overnight saty in Gangtok.

Day 4 :

Excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – Nathula Pass

Morning after breakfast we start for a half day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), 32kms from Gangtok City. .The lake is almost about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Further 12Kms is the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir dedicated to the memory of soldier Harbhajan Singh. Later drive to Nathula Pass is located 54 km east of Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The only way to reach the pass is through a drive from Gangtok. Only SUV vehicles are allowed to be driven to Nathula Pass and overnight saty in Gangtok.

Day 5 :

Gangtok Local Sightseeing & shopping

Morning after breakfast proceed local sightseeing place MG Marg, Tashi View Point, Himalayan Zoological Park, and Mount Katao. and then leave for shopping in the market and rest of the time leisure at your own. this little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Take rest and then walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6 :

Gangtok to Pelling

After breakfast check out the hotel and proceed for Pelling (6,300 ft.). Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 7 :

Pelling - Darjeeling

After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Darjeeling. The drive may not be very smooth but on the journey, you will come across gorgeous green gardens, rivers, quaint villages and old bridges. Reach the hotel in Darjeeling, check in and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 8 :

Darjeeling local sightseeing

Begin the journey early morning (around 4 am) and drive to the famous Tiger Hill (2590 m) to treat your senses with mind-blowing views of the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is the highest point of this hill station. While coming back from there visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Enjoy a good breakfast and then visit Japanese Temple which reflects traditional Japanese architecture and is a well known Buddhist pilgrimage. Other attractions which will be covered are Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda and Chitrey Tea Garden(outer view). In the evening take a stroll along the Mall Road. overnight stay in hotel.

Day 9 :

Departure

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and we will drive you back to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) – Gangtok with memories to cherish for long!
